SUARA NEGERI | JAKARTA — President Prabowo Subianto expressed his hope that Muslims in Indonesia can observe Ramadan peacefully and calmly.
He also hoped that every family would feel content during this period.
This was conveyed by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi to reporters in Jakarta on Tuesday (February 10).
Prabowo also touched on this at the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (Polri) Leadership Meeting held at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta yesterday.
Regarding preparations for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, the State Secretary emphasized that inter-ministerial coordination continues, with the active involvement of the TNI and Polri to ensure the state's presence in maintaining the smooth running and security of the community during Ramadan.
The President extended his congratulations to Muslims on entering the month of Ramadan. He expressed optimism that this year's Ramadan will be safe and comfortable. (Jeane Patikawa)
